Me, The Director of ICRIL 09

ICRIL 09 has been organised by Shariah and Law Department, UM and I was made the Director. The two-day seminar took place on 15th and 16th July 2009 and we were so proud that it was the first international conference ever organised by a department under Academy of Islamic Studies. What more, it was our first "baby". The theme, Explotring Challenges and Prospects in the 21st Century has attracted the attention of 97 presenters from countries like Australia, USA, Japan, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Bangladesh, Nigeria and many more. About 133 papers have been presented ranging under the various themes like Methodology of research, ismlamic banking and finance, Islamic legal education and pedagogy, sharih court procedures and practice and so on. Chief Syarie Judge Tan Sri Ibrahim Lembut launched ICRIL09 in the morning. At night we were retreated to a welcoming dinner at KK12. Now, I am left with the bundle of working papers to be reviewed and finally to be published as books as a waited rsult of ICRIL 09. All I have to do is just sit down and do it, but WHEN?
