Forum Isu Sebat kartika: Adakah Relevan?

On 16th September. I was invited to be one of the panelist for a forum organised by the students' society in University of Malaya. The topic is on the Issue of Whipping kartika: Is it Relevant?". I was glad that they organised this forum because from the feedback, it seems that many are not aware of the fact that the shariah whipping is totally different from the civil "brutal" whipping they come to know about. I shall elaborate on this matter soon, but perhaps the article about whipping below during the last posting can shed some light on the matter
