In the name of friends

I believe that we all have a bunch of people whom we consider as "friends". Friends are not just colleague or people around you. Friend may have one definition or two, well as the saying goes: "a friend in need is a friend indeed". Sometimes, for old time sake, we manage to befriend with a person who fought a lot with us during old days, ha ha ha... or friends again with old chum after all these years???? sounds pretty scary, eh? Friends certainly have categories, whether we realise it or not. I, have certain categories of them: my CK group friends (remain anonymous), school alumni friends, kutu gang, "birmingham" friends. Nowadays, many new categories arise: FB friends, blogger friends, hobby friends, club friends, etc. So, how do we nurture our friendship? Get-together for makan-makan once in a while? have a common activity every month? Yes, connection is very important and it works well if it is personally connected. If you don't see each other, like club friends or FB friends, you maybe forgotten, or worst still, de-listed "because you are inactive". Well, whatever it is, on a personal basis, it must be a two-way interaction, a give-and-take situation and above all, sincere.I found this quote by somebody remain anonymous: "Don't let anybody becomes a priority when you are just an option in their lives. Relationship works when it is balanced." Smart.
